Instnt maintains a range of environments to ensure the seamless integration and maintenance of your processes with our platform. The environments and integration flow are outlined below. For a step-by-step guide, please refer to the Quick Start Guide. Instnt delivers new features and enhancements through bi-weekly releases.
Environment Types
Three Types of Environments:
- Sandbox: This environment is accessible throughout your engagement with Instnt, serving research and development needs.
- Production: Its purpose is to deploy and execute the product build as user-ready software.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)/Pre-Production: Once the transition to production is complete, this environment can be utilized to test the latest Instnt releases, preventing regressions before advancing to the live production stage.
Seamlessly integrate with any of these environments using our web and mobile SDKs. For a detailed, step-by-step walkthrough, please refer to the Instnt Acceptâ„¢ Integration Process.
Sandbox Integration
To initiate the Instnt pilot process, register an account in the Instnt sandbox environment and establish a workflow configuration. Subsequently, the workflow will undergo testing through Instnt's integration, simulating processes with synthetic identities that yield predictable outcomes. Upon validation, collaborate with the Instnt customer support team to transition to production environments for live production mode.
Transitioning to Production
After successfully testing the integration in the sandbox environment and ensuring satisfaction, the subsequent phase involves collaborating with the Instnt customer support team to deploy the Instnt service integration into the production environment. The steps for transitioning to production mirror those of sandbox setup:
- Confirm readiness for production with the Instnt support.
- Create an account in the Instnt production environment.
- Promote workflow.
- Redirect existing integrations to production workflows.
- Meet with Instnt support to verify this phase of Integration.
Setting Up UAT/Pre-Production (Optional)
After transitioning to production, this environment can be used to test against the latest Instnt releases, ensuring no regressions before the Instnt releases go live into production. The steps to transition into pre-production are the same as those for setting up the sandbox/production:
- Create an account in the Instnt pre-production environment.
- Promote workflows.
- Redirect existing integrations to production workflows.
- Meet with Instnt support to verify this phase of Integration.
